My name is Sayeh, and I love growing and drawing plants….. and oh yeah, taking pictures of them too! I have always been fascinated by nature and just love understanding how things grow.
When the weather permits, I am outdoors, growing native plants and veggies outdoors. I also have an indoors plant room which keeps me sane during the long Canadian winters.
My favorite houseplants are African violets, and I have been growing them a looooooooong time! They get the best spots in my light stands, but then there are always other that creep in and join them. For the past few years, I have been getting and growing some really interesting plants that, once you get to know them, they just might make their way into your collection!
As an avid environmentalist, I take every opportunity to get kids involved with nature. I once read that you can’t love what you don’t know, and won’t protect what you don’t love. The key to saving our planet is to see it in all it’s beauty and learn to love it. That is how we muster the passion to protect it.
