Each time the weather warms up a bit, we all get the urge to “clean up” our garden so that they look clean and ready for the massive growing that’s about to start. Luckily, I always remember the reasons I SHOULD NOT clean up, and in the end, I just move branches that have fallen on the garden beds onto my permanent brush pile that houses over-wintering insects.
