Jennifer co-leads the 188th Toronto division of Girl Guides and this past year they have created a beautiful pollinator garden with funding from PollinateTO. On April 15th, Sayeh led a workshop about some of the benefits of growing native plants and the children had a chance to play a game about butterfly life cycles and plant germinated butterflyweed and Swamp milkweed seedlings.
The children made a video of everything they had throughout their garden project and held a special screening at a local theatre. Jen generously invited USS members.
There were great displays, handouts and even plants. Well done girl guides and their amazing leaders! Here’s the video that was shown.
