Well…. just when I thought that we had finished signing up new members, 15 new members joined us on the March 2nd Seedy Saturday held at Evergreen Brick Works. A big thank you to the organizers for a spectacular event. It was so busy that I never even had the time to take a picture. I’ve just finished updating the membership list and seed varieties and I wanted to share some numbers with you:
We have 50 members, growing 108 varieties for 21 projects. It will be an awesome summer!
Take a look at the list of members. Several members have TBD next to their names and there are two reasons:
- They are already growing seeds they personally sourced so I’m waiting for an update
- They are leading projects where the varieties have not been determined. While it’s getting too late for winter-sowing, several schools will be growing seeds that have already been stratified.
Please take a moment to let me know if the information I have listed is correct.
And here are the varieties we are growing together. This is the first time I am trying some of the more tricky ones like Liverwort, Twinleaf, Dutchman’s breeches that have double-dormancy, so fingers crossed!
